Description: This extra large terracotta garden candle makes a bold and beautiful statement piece, whilst still being really pretty, and having a lovely floral scent rather than the typical pungent citronella fragrance usually found in outdoor candles. Having three wicks not only creates a more vibrant glow due to the multiple flames, but also produces larger pools of liquid wax, which in turn releases a more intense fragrance to provide a heightened multi sensory experience. Not all terracotta pots are made equal! These frost resistant pots are of a much higher quality than the bright orange pots that are mass produced and fired at low temperatures, these pots are first allowed to dry naturally, and then fired at a very high temperature for 12-18 hours, before leaving to cool naturally over the next 24 hours. This produces a terracotta much less porous, so less likely to absorb moisture and crack if it gets really cold. When lighting multi wick candles it is very important to let them burn until all the wax pools around each wick join up creating an entire liquid surface. Without doing this the likely result will be wax tunnelling, ie having 3 separate little tunnels of wax channels into the candle, which will effectively drown the wicks and be unable to be re-lit, wasting a huge amount of wax!.
