Description: Dive into this collection of rich, robust and full-bodied red wines, featuring European classics and gems from the New World. Inside youll find our organic Argentinian Malbec, a must for lovers of rich, ripe reds, it offers the richness you would expect from the region, but with a freshness that provides balance. An intense and powerful expression of fruit and chocolate, this full-bodied red has a smooth palate and a long, velvety finish and is great with meat dishes of any style. Next, a judicious blend of two Cabernet Francs and Merlot, or Stellenbosch Red is bright with an intense violet colour. This medium-bodied red is expressive on the nose and vivacious on the palate, and pairs perfectly with steak and aged cheese. Youll also find a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape, produced by André Brunel on the classic stony soil of Châteauneuf du Pape, the most important appellation of the southern Rhône. It is a blend of 70% Grenache, 15% Mourvedre, and 15% Syrah, and is deliciously paired with beef and grilled dishes. Our Priorat is produced by the visionary winemaker Alvaro Palacios, who was instrumental in catapulting Priorat onto the world wine stage. This Garnacha and Samsó (Carignan) dominated blend has rich and seductive notes with intense plum and cherry fruit and a long creamy finish. Next, our organically grown Chianti Classico, produced using Sangiovese grapes, enjoy the notes of dark cherry and plummy fruit with soft tannins and gorgeous acidity, and a touch of rich, dark chocolate at the finish, it pairs wonderfully with cheese, lamb dishes and pasta. Lastly, a complex and powerful Rioja Crianza. Produced by Bodegas La Encina, a winery situated on a hill above the river Ebro near Haro. The blend is 95% Tempranillo and 5% Garnacha, with berry fruits and hints of vanilla and spices, it is ideally paired with grilled meats, tomato based pasta and vegetarian casserole.
