The number of other participants on the day will vary depending on the venue. The minimum age for this experience may differ venue to venue but will range between 10 and 16 years of age. Please note that the species of bird flown will be dependent on the time of year. Lunch is included with this experience at the Cheshire, Kent, North Yorkshire, Perthshire, Hampshire and West Sussex venues. At the Fife venue, the supplier will contribute £10 to your lunch at the local bistro. The venue in Perthshire does not include a tour of the Centre you will instead be met by the falconer at a rendevous point and then taken to see the Birds in their natural surroundings. The venue in Kent does not currently operate guided tours but you are welcome to wander round the centre to see the birds of prey on display. The Cornwall venue provides lunch for the client but no spectators are allowed. Please note, dogs are not permitted on site at some locations. Family Day Out At A Falconry Centre In KentCategory: Experiences Availability: Selected weekend dates throughout the year. Early booking is recommended (particularly during the most popular summer weekends). Weather: The centre opens in all weathers. Duration: You are welcome to visit the centre from 10.30am to 5pm from March until October (open seven days a week). Outside these months it is open weekends from 11am until 4pm. It closes throughout December. Numbers On Day: Eagle Heights is open to the general public and flying displays are open for all to see. Your family will be the only ones able to handle the birds and receive photographs. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. The entrance fee is £7.95 for adults and £5 for children. Dress Code: As flying displays take place outside please bring clothes suitable for the weather on the day including waterproof jackets and walking boots. Guidelines: From the M25 take the second of two exits at junction 3 (not the M20 exit) and then take the second exit at the slip road roundabout signed A20 (East) for West Kingsdown, A225 Farningham and Brands Hatch. Turn right onto the A225 towards Sevenoaks. In the village of Eynsford, take a right turn up Lullingstone Lane, cross the river and head up to Eagle Heights. There is ample car parking.
