Full Day Off Road Weekday AdventureCategory: Driving Availability: Available weekdays only from Tuesday to Friday, throughout the year (the centre is closed on Mondays). Weather: Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving dangerous (please call the venue if in any doubt). If this happens, you will be rebooked for an alternative date. Duration: Your experience will last for six hours including a briefing, an instructor demonstration, one hour for lunch and four and a half hours of driving. Numbers On Day: Other than the instructor demonstration, you will be the only person driving the Land Rover. Spectators: There are no facilities on site for non-participating spectators but up to two guests can ride with you in the 4x4 free of charge. There is a viewing area from which photographs can be taken. Hot drinks are also available. Dress Code: We recommend sensible, outdoor clothing suitable for driving. Ground conditions are rough and a strong shoe with ankle protection is therefore advisable. No high heels please! Guidelines: Take the M2 towards Margate until it becomes the A299. After 12 miles or so take the Reculver/Hillborough/Hoath/Chislet slip road. Make a sharp left turn off the slip road, follow the road back over the bridge and turn left at the junction towards Maypole (Heart in Hand Road). After a mile and a half, the site is on your right by the 30mph sign opposite the Maypole Lane turning. Restrictions: Min age 17 and max weight 18 stone. Max height 6'5''. All participants must hold a valid driving licence and produce the original on the day. Inform us of any medical conditions beforehand please, to ensure your suitability to participate. Then jump into the driving seat for a rip-roaring off road driving session, tackling steep inclines, sudden angles and a mixture of terrain. This experience works on a one on one basis, meaning the session isn't shared with others, allowing for a thoroughly intense driving adventure.
