You'll drive seven fast laps around the famous Knockhill track in your own hot rod. Motor Racing Experience At Mallory ParkCategory: Driving Availability: Booking from October 2011 onwards. Weekdays and occasional weekends. At least one date per month. Dates fill very quickly, so please book at least six weeks in advance. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for up to two hours, including a safety briefing, around 20 minutes driving time and a debrief. Please arrive up to 25 minutes in advance of your booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Please note that animals are not allowed at the circuit, with the exception of guide dogs. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. A helmet will be provided, or you can bring your own if you have one (which will be tested for safety). Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 18. Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 5'2'', maximum 6'4''. You must have held a full British or international manual driving licence for at least 12 months which you must bring with you on the day in order to participate. Other Info: The race circuit is MSA (Motor Sports Association) approved for quality and safety. The organiser was established in 1978 and is a founder member of The Association of Racing Drivers' Schools. All instructors here are ARDS qualified. Description: Forget the Ferraris and Lamborghinis - there's no doubt that a single-seater driving experience is the closest you can get to being a Formula 1 racing driver. This truly is circuit driving at its rawest, as you roar down the straights and take corners at tremendous speeds, just inches off the ground. It takes real nerve, power and skill to master these fantastic solo racing cars. After a briefing about the safety guidelines for single-seater racing and following a pace car, you'll drive up to 13 miles throughout the day.
