Yacht Sailing Evening For TwoCategory: Water Experiences Availability: Selected Saturday evenings, at least once a month from May until August. As there are no further dates available you must therefore exchange this voucher to another option (try DYAHF). Weather: Sailing is a weather dependent activity. It is vital that you telephone the centre the day before your booking to confirm conditions. Strong winds or rough seas will have an impact on the day, and in such cases the itinerary is subject to change. Duration: Your experience runs for approximately two hours during the evening. Please allow some extra time for a possible later return, depending on the tide and weather on the day. Please arrive in good time (ideally few minutes in advance). Numbers On Day: There will be up to ten people plus a cruising or yacht master instructor on board. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the marina, but won't be able to join you on board. Dress Code: You must wear flat, soft and light-soled, non-marking shoes, eg deck shoes or trainers or you wont be permitted aboard. Wear lots of layers, it can get cold out at sea. Bring extra clothes and sun protection. Life-jackets and sailing gear is provided. Guidelines: From M23 end, join A23 to Brighton seafront. Turn left to Marine Parade onto dual carriageway. After a mile or two, double back on yourself to go down marina entrance ramp. Park in multi storey car park using ramp on level 5 to get across to walkway in front of restaurants (starting with West Quay pub) and carry on til ramp turns right on pontoons. Lagoon Watersports are on right. Do allow plenty of extra time to incorporate traffic congestion. Restrictions: Minimum age is 16 accompanied by another voucher holding adult and 18 unaccompanied. No weight limit applies. You need to be agile enough to get on and off the boat but don't need any previous sailing experience and non-swimmers are welcome. Other Info: Where possible you will both race on the same boat together but please be aware that as two boats are used for the experience, this cannot be guaranteed. Description: Experiencing the extravagance of a luxury skippered sailing yacht could be a superb end to a romantic day, or the perfect start to a night on the town.
