Rally Driving Thrill In LeicestershireCategory: Driving Availability: Selected Saturdays and the occasional weekday. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Rally Driving For Two In OxfordshireCategory: Driving Availability: Selected Saturdays and occasional weekdays (averaging around four dates a month) throughout the year. Dates fill very quickly; book at least six weeks in advance. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be onsite for up to four hours from sign on to debrief, with 35 to 40 minutes driving time. Numbers On Day: Your briefing will be shared, the driver to instructor ratio is 4:1. Spectators: Spectators are very welcome. Please be aware that any children aged 11 or under must be accompanied by a spectating adult at all times. Dress Code: Wear flat shoes which are comfortable for driving. Helmets will be provided. Guidelines: This site is easily accessible from M40. Southbound, exit junction 11, head to Banbury town centre then follow A361 for 7 miles to B4022 on left, then turn left at Duns Tew/Ledwell crossroads. Northbound, exit jct 8 and join A40 ringroad to A44 (Chipping Norton/Evesham) after 9 miles turn right onto B4022 Banbury/Tews, turn right at Duns Tew/Ledwell crossroads. Duration: The experience lasts around 45 minutes, including briefings, demonstration and driving time. You MUST arrive early or on time as safety rules dictate that if you miss any of your initial briefing you cannot be permitted to take part. Numbers On Day: There'll be a maximum of six people per instructor. During the driving, only you and the instructor will be in the vehicle. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and there are superb purpose-built indoor and outdoor viewing facilities. Children must be closely supervised at all times. Dogs are not allowed at the circuit. Dress Code: Wear flat shoes or trainers which are comfortable for driving, trousers and long sleeves. Helmets will be provided, but if you have your own you're welcome to bring it along. Guidelines: The centre is just off the A43 close to the village of Silverstone on the opposite side of the road to the racing circuit. From the A43, follow the signs for Dadford and the racing circuit (do not enter the racing circuit). At the first roundabout take the fourth exit (to bring you back down the other side of the dual carriageway as if you were returning to the A43). The centre signposted Rally School is 500 yards from the roundabout on the left. Restrictions: Maximum height is 6' 6''. Maximum weight is 18 stone. You need a full British or international manual driving licence which you'll need to produce on day.
