Single Seater Motor Racing DrivingCategory: Driving Availability: Weekend or weekday dates at least once a month at each location. Weekends are always busy; please allow several weeks advance booking notice. Weather: Motor racing may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (like snow, ice or severe rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Give the venue a ring if you're in any doubt. Duration: You'll be at the circuit for around two hours, including a safety briefing, tuition, driving time and a debrief. Please arrive in advance of your booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people. Spectators: Spectators are welcome, get them to bring a camera. Spectator facilities vary from circuit to circuit but are generally very good. Pets are not allowed at any circuit. Dress Code: Dress comfortably (e.g. jeans and sweatshirt) and wear trainers or flat-soled shoes. A helmet will be provided or you can bring your own if you have one. Guidelines: You'll receive further location details when you have booked a date. Restrictions: Minimum age is 18. Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 5'2'', maximum 6'4''. You must have held a full British or international manual driving licence for at least 12 months which you must bring with you on the day in order to participate. Other Info: Description: Nothing can prepare you for this: strapped into an open cockpit single-seater with legs stretched out into the nose, the steering wheel in front and the gearstick on the right. Being just a couple of inches off the ground, feel every bump and vibration and fight not to oversteer as the car reacts to every tiny adjustment. It's a truly incredible driving experience. Start with a safety briefing about high-speed driving, then strap in to the single-seater for the solo drive, putting all the theory into practice. A debrief follows the end of the experience.
