Aston Martin Versus Audi R8 DrivingCategory: Driving Availability: Runs on selected Saturdays or Thursdays (at least one per month) in Leicester and at least two Saturdays a month and occasional Fridays in Oxfordshire (excluding Dec to March). All booking is subject to availability. Weather: Please bear in mind that driving can be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Duration: You can expect to be at the circuit for up to two hours in total and enjoy around fifteen minutes driving. Please arrive in advance of your booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people and all in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis. Spectators: Spectators are welcome but no pets are permitted at racing circuits. Dress Code: Dress comfortably with trousers, long sleeves and narrow, flat-soled shoes (to negotiate pedals that are close together). Natural fibres are preferable to nylon. Guidelines: You will be sent further details when you make your booking. Restrictions: Min height 5' - 5'2'', max height is 6'4'' - 6'6'' and maximum weight 17 - 18 stone (restrictions depend on venue). You must be able to produce your full manual driving licence with you on the day to guarantee participation. Other Info: Description: Two world-famous marques go head-to-head. First up is the refined Aston Martin - pure class, and absolutely gorgeous. Drive either an Aston Martin DB9 or a V8 Vantage (decided on the day). The ferocious Audi R8 has the racing technology which has delivered a 187 mph car. Content will vary slightly but at both venues a qualified instructor will provide a briefing and demonstration drive around the circuit to help with familiarisation. Then take the driving seat of the Aston Martin for four laps - catch some breath before moving on to the Audi R8 for another four laps.
