Worlds Smallest Walkie Talkie Category: Gadgets Description: Smaller than a Carthusian monk's ego, but considerably more communicative, these micro walkie talkies claim to be the 'Smallest Walkie Talkies in the World'. It's probably more accurate to say they're the smallest in the world unless you happen to be a member of the secret services, who one would imagine had really teeny weeny ones. Nevertheless they really are pretty darn minute. Measuring a ludicrous 5.5cm tall (excluding the delightfully whippy antenna) they have a range of a 100ft, which, and there's no particular point to this statistic, is 554 times its length. They'll transmit through floors and walls, you can use speech or morse code (cos we all know morse code right?), and they even come with batteries. These will keep the kids amused for ever, and adults for slightly less. As far as Carthusian monks go, useless, no point in having these whatsoever. Unless of course they know their morse code, but surely that wouldn't be allowed? Let's forget the monks and move on. The Smallest Walkie Talkies in the World (excluding that hush hush stuff we mentioned earlier) are brilliant fun, and remarkably cheap for anything that has 'In the world' in the title. Get chatting. Beer Pong Category: Gadgets Description: Beer Pong is one of the simplest, most addictive and active drinking games this side of somewhere where there aren't many games on the other side. If you haven't heard of Beer Pong, then welcome to planet earth, we hope you enjoy your stay here, don't feed the animals or abduct anyone, and here are the rules. Two players, one goal (sounds like a Jerry Bruckheimer movie), get your opponent to drink as much beer as possible. So losing appears to have a pretty healthy upside. Basically you place six cups with a good glug of beer in them on a longish table in a triangle facing your opponent (who does likewise). You now take it in turns to bounce or lob a ping pong ball into one of your opponents cups. If you get one in, they have to drink down that cup of beer, and you get another go. If you miss, it's their turn. Whoever gets their opponent to finish all their beer first wins, oh and the loser has to drink what's left of the winner's beer too. There are way too many local rules and adaptations to mention here, and we're fairly certain it won't squeeze past the IOC and make it into the 2012 Olympics (a crying shame), but suffice to say that it's a brilliant, highly adaptable game that once played is never forgotten.
